Applying for a Canada Student Visa or a study permit can be difficult and have many steps. The step is to apply and be accepted into a Canadian educational institution. Including the study permit, you may need a Temporary Resident Visa and depending on your country of residence, an Electronic Travel Authorization.

Applying for a Canadian Student Visa
Only international students who have been accepted into a Designated Learning Institution(DLI) can apply for their Visa. Once their Canadian Student Visa has been approved, they may come to Canada and complete the program in which they have been accepted. Remember, you must have an acceptance letter from the institution you plan to attend before submitting your application for a study visa.

You must meet the requirements listed to be approved for a Canadian student visa:
-You must be accepted by a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada.
-You must prove that you have the funds to pay for your tuition and living expenses for you and any family who plan to join you
-Proof of return transportation for yourself and any family join you
-You must have no criminal record and be of no risk to the security of Canada. You may be asked to prepare a police certificate from your country of citizenship.
-You must be in good health and willing to complete a full physical examination, if necessary.

You must guarantee and provide proof to an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay.
