Super Visa For Parents & Grandparents Canada

Super Visa Parents and Grandparents

Super Visa
The Super Visa program is a way for Permanent residents or Canadian citizens to bring their Parents and Grandparents to Canada while waiting for sponsorship if they otherwise do not qualify for Parental PR sponsorship. This program permits family members to enter Canada as long-term visitors on a multiple entry visa that could be valid for up to 10 years. A Super Visa must be renewed every two years, or it could be terminated.

The minimum necessary income (MNI) is up to 30% lower than that of a permanent resident sponsorship. Thus the financial requirements are less strict and easier to attain. Only one year of gross income must exceed the MNI versus the three years requires for a PR Sponsorship.
